God wants you to be 100% certain that if you die you will go to heaven. (If He comes back to get His children
before you die will you be in that number?)
That's why the Bible says, "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God:
that ye may know that ye have eternal life." I John 5:13
Jesus freely offers salvation to you with NO strings attached. "but the gift of God is eternal life
through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23
"WHAT MUST I DO TO BE SAVED?"
1. RECOGNIZE THE FACT THAT YOU ARE LOST.
No one will make an effort to escape danger until he recognizes the fact that he is in danger. God's Word
shows the danger of being lost.
~"For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not," Ecclesiastes 7:20
You are a sinner and don't deserve to go to heaven.
~"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God," Romans 3:23,
The only way you can pay for your sins is by spending eternity in hell.
We can't do anything good enough on our own to merit heaven.
~"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us." Titus 3:5
We cannot save ourselves.
~"Not of works, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:9)
2. RECOGNIZE THAT JESUS DIED AS YOUR SUBSTITUTE.
Jesus Christ paid the price for our sins.
~"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8
~"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish,
but have everlasting life," John 3:16
~"For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him,"
II Corinthians 5:21
Jesus not only died, but also rose from the dead!
~"For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to
the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures." I Corinthians
15:3,4
3. REPENT TOWARD GOD, WITH GENUINE SORROW FOR THE FACT THAT YOU ARE A SINNER.
You accept the gift by believing in the Lord Jesus Christ, and by confessing Him with your mouth.
"If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the
Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For...with the mouth
confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10: 9-10)
4. ASK GOD TO SAVE YOU, TO FORGIVE YOUR SIN FOR JESUS' SAKE, AND
TRUST(BELIEVE & HAVE FAITH) WHOLEHEARTDLY THAT HE WILL.
~"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved." Acts 16:13.

Lord, I believe You are the Son of God, and that You died on the cross and were raised from the dead. I know I have
sinned and need forgiveness. I am willing to turn from my sins and receive You as my Savior and Lord. Thank you for
